Rebuild a worn fluid section with the Graco Fluid Section Packing Repair Kit (18B260, replaces 244194).
The packings inside an airless pump wear as a matter of course. As they go, you lose pressure, the spray pattern turns inconsistent, and paint starts working its way up into the throat packing nut. This kit contains the parts to bring the fluid section back to spec rather than replacing the pump.
Replacing packings on schedule also protects the displacement rod. Running worn packings scores the rod, and the rod costs considerably more than a packing kit.
